International Lift Systems’ RD-1.0, RD-1.0BL, and RD-1.5 wireline retrievable
dummy valves are designed to isolate communication between tubing
and casing in wireline retrievable mandrels.
The RD-1.0 and RD-1.0BL are 1” outside diameter valves using a top latch and
integral bottom latch respectively. The RD-1.5 is a 1-1/2” outside diameter valve
using a top latch.
All these valves straddle and pack-off the ports in the side pocket mandrel using
two sets of packing.
