A Bumper Spring is used to prevent excessive shock to the plunger if it were to fall in dry tubing.
Each spring has maximum durability:
- Can be free fall set from surface
- Ball and Seat option for trapping liquid
- Wireline retrievable
- Sour gas service available
- Springs are Shot Peened to remove stress fractures
- Available in Stainless Steel
